Japan’s Suntory Explores For Selling Canned Alcoholic Drinks

Suntory Beverage & Food, a big beverage company from Japan, is looking at Australia as a model for how to sell canned alcoholic drinks in other parts of the world.

Normally, they make non-alcoholic drinks, but now they want to learn from Australia’s success in selling canned alcoholic drinks.

Suntory is known for making soft drinks, but they’re also part of a bigger company that makes spirits and alcohol. They’re now joining their non-alcohol and alcohol sides together in a partnership for Australia and New Zealand. This is a big deal, worth $1.94 billion.

They’re even thinking of building a factory in a city called Brisbane in Australia. This factory would make drinks like coffee and cocktails in cans.

They want to try this new way of making drinks in Australia first, and if it works well, they might use the same idea in other places, like Europe.

The CEO of Suntory Beverage & Food, Makiko Ono, thinks this is a new and exciting way to sell drinks. She’s been in the beverage business for a long time and wants to try new things.

She believes that they can introduce different types of drinks, like energy drinks or coffee, in Europe using this approach.

Suntory is working with other companies to make and sell their drinks in Australia and New Zealand. They’re planning to have everything set up and running by 2025 in Australia and 2026 in New Zealand.

This new partnership will help them introduce more canned drinks, like cocktails, to people who might want to try something new.
