How to Watch the 2023 Academy Awards

The 95th Academy Awards will soon be upon us. With 11 nominations overall, including the coveted Best Picture nod, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” is the leading nominee.

In relation to the iconic slap from the show last year, what happened to it? Will Smith, who was given a 10-year Oscars ban, won’t be there.

On Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the Oscars will be presented. at 5:00 PT/8:00 ET.

Jimmy Kimmel will serve as host for a third time. When he hosted in 2018, it was also the final Oscars with a single host.

Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer shared hosting duties the previous year. Kimmel made his modest case for being the appropriate person for the job in an advertisement for this year’s programme that was inspired by “Top Gun: Maverick,” adding that he can’t get slapped because “I cry a lot.”

Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monáe, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldaa, and Donnie Yen are among the initial list of presenters that have been made public.

All Quiet on the Western Front, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Fabelmans, Tár, Top Gun: Maverick, “Triangle of Sorrow,” and Women Talking are the 10 films up for the best picture.

Rihanna will perform “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and Kala Bhairava will sing “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR,” indicating that there will be a full schedule of musical performances. There has been no official announcement regarding whether Lady Gaga will perform “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” live.
