How to Screen Record on iPhone 17: Complete Guide

One of the most convenient built-in features on an iPhone is screen recording which can be used to record tutorials, record memorable moments, record app problems, or provide steps to a person who requires help. 1. Enable Screen Recording in Control Center

The first thing you have to do is to add the screen recording feature to your Control Center.

  • Open Settings
  • Tap Control Center
  • Click down to Screen Recording.
  • Tap the + icon to add it

Now there is an option to use the screen recording button, swipe down at the top-right corner. This is the first step to follow by any person who has no experience with screen recording on iPhone.

2. Start Screen Recording Easily

To begin recording:

  • Open the Control Center
  • Click on the icon of Screen Record (solid dot within a circle).
  • There will be a 3 seconds countdown.

3. Record With or Without Audio

  • Press the Screen record icon long.

  • Tap Start Recording

4. Stop and Save Your Recording

To stop recording:

  • Tap the red bar at the top
  • Select Stop

The video can be saved to the Photos application automatically. You can then be able to trim, edit or share your recording in real time.
