Heads of State: Priyanka Chopra Jonas cracks another deal with Amazon Studios

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to make her OTT debut with Citadel on Amazon Prime. But even before the spy thriller web series’ release, the actor has already signed another film with Amazon Studios.

She will be seen in her next adventure alongside actor Idris Elba and wrestler-turned-actor John Cena for an action movie titled Heads of State.

While the shooting for the film will start in May, it is expected to be something like Air Force One meets Midnight Run, according to a report on Deadline. The movie has been written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec based on a prominent story by Harrison Query, with Ilya Naishuller of Nobody fame providing the direction.

In addition to Citadel, Priyanka is also looking forward to the possible May release of her Hollywood film Love Again, which includes Celine Dion and Sam Heughan as well. She also has a Bollywood film titled Jee Le Zaraa with actor-director Farhan Akhtar.

In recent news, Priyanka was seen at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) inauguration event in Mumbai, India, during the weekend before starting the promotions of her spy thriller web series. Following the two-day event, the actor graced the Citadel premiere in the city on Tuesday, with co-star Richard Madden also seen joining her.

The first couple of episodes of the series are expected to drop on the platform on April 28 in 40 languages, with additional episodes to be released subsequently.
