Fatal Tesla Cybertruck Explosion Rocks Trump Hotel in Las Vegas
An explosion that occurred near the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas in a Tesla Cybertruck has led to the death of a person and left seven others injured as was confirmed on Wednesday. The accident happened when the electric car which authorities said was charging firework mortars and camp fuel canisters, exploded close to the glass front door of the hotel
Former Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill said security cameras recorded the stainless steel truck idling at the entrance at the time of a “big boom,” then several much smaller booms similar to fireworks. Tesla chairman and CEO Elon Musk, who recently endorsed President-elect Trump, pointed out that the explosion was due to large fireworks and/or a bomb, and not related to the car.
The FBI agent Jeremy Schwartz called the event as ‘isolated’ but the media highlighted the potential connection with the terror group. The investigation is still continuing, but authorities are particularly concerned with when and where the attack may have occurred. Well, it is a Tesla truck, and everybody knows Elon Musk is in touch with the President-elect Trump, and, it happened at the Trump tower. So there are obviously things to be concerned about,” McMahill stated that, given the investigation’s multifaceted nature.
