His identity as Kim Sae-ron’s ex-boyfriend was revealed by a YouTube channel called Garosero Research Institute. According to the channel, their relationship was very short—less than a week—before they decided to just stay friends.
The YouTube channel claimed that after their breakup, Lee Chan Hee kept in contact with Kim Sae-Ron. He allegedly tried to use her connections to enter the entertainment industry. While there is no clear proof, many believe he benefited from knowing her.
On March 27 family of Kim Sae-ron held a press conference. Their lawyers shared messages that they claimed showed Kim Soo-Hyun had a romantic relationship with Kim Sae-Ron when she was still a minor. However, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency denied all accusations and has not made any further comments.
