Cheapest Streaming Subscriptions in the US (2025): What to Get and How to Save

This year, the entry-level prices are still the cheapest ad-supported plans and some powerful plans which reduce the prices on a per-service basis to lower than standalone ones. The lowest priced single plans are generally the basic versions of Peacock and Paramount+ at approximately $7.99 a month with ads and the standalone plan of Prime Video at approximately $8.99 a month with ads (add approximately $3 to drop ads). With advertisements, Netflix costs nearly $7.99 however, numerous users would want to use packages that give them value on their money.

Best standalone options that are not cheap.

Peacock: $7.99 with advertisements; one of the lowest monthly rates of the major ones.

Paramount+ Essential: Approximately $7.99 with advertisements; include Showtime at approximately 12.99 in case you want better original content and your local CBS feed.

Netflix + ad: Approximately $7.99; full HD + no ad increase to $17.99 and more.

Prime video alone: $8.99/ad, or via Amazon Prime: $14.99/month; no ads add-on costs approximately $3.00.

Max featuring advertisements: approximate of $9.99; no ad plans are more costly.

Packages that are worth beating the price.

Disney+ and Hulu Ads: Approximately $10.99 per month overall: The two are usually the most effective packages. Ad‑free bundle around $19.99.

Disney + + Hulu Max (with ads): $16.99 a month – three high-end libraries at less than 6 a month. The no-advertisement plan is approximately $29.99.

Comcast StreamSaver (subscribers only): Netflix and adverts + Peacock and adverts + Apple TV+, approximately $15/month- great per-service deal, provided the customer qualifies.

Wireless and retail benefits: T-Mobile comes with Netflix (advertised) on a few multi-line plans; Walmart+ comes with Paramount+ (advertised); a variety of offers cycle seasonally.

Money‑saving playbook

Auto-lets to ad tiers at the most affordable price, followed by a cycle of an ad-free upgrade whereby there is a show you have to watch.

Bundling where feasible, Disney/Hulu, or Disney/Hulu/Max partnerships frequently discount on an individual basis.

Annual plans are provided to use to cut effective monthly costs on Paramount+ and others.

Costs are offset by Stack ISP, mobile, or retail perks such as StreamSaver, T-Mobile Netflix, or Walmart+.

Bottom line: To make monthly spending rock bottom, get the Disney+ + Hulu ad-plan with either Peacock or Paramount+ Essential, or get the triple-way Disney/Hulu/Max plan to get most hits at less than a twenty-dollar price point. Switch to Netflix with advertisements whenever you require it to maintain your overall at or below $20-$25.
