cardi b faces teleprompter glitch at kamala harris rally reads speech from phone
Cardi B appeared to embarrass herself after briefly taking the mic to address a crowd during a rally in support of the U.S presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Friday night. The rally was held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center in West Allis and Cardi B got on stage, but the teleprompter went off during her speech. In one of the videos, she had to read her speech from her phone after a short fight, thus proving to be a good sportswoman in the process.
To cheers, Cardi B appeared on stage. She tried to read from her teleprompter but had to stop; she then pulled off her gloves and begged the audience for their patience. “One second guys. “Wait for one second!” she said, which seemed like she was a little put off. A team member then signaled her and handed her a phone. She calmed down and spoke her speech for Harris, and showed that she supports him/her.
This case demonstrated that the singer is very natural and has no problem admitting her anxiety and briefly losing her lines. Cardi B went on and engaged them by telling her story up to this political present. It was real, and She boasted about supporting Harris, using a loudspeaker appeal to the crowd to vote for the democratic candidate in the 2024 USA general elections.
As she spoke, Cardi B said she had not intended on voting in the 2024 elections until Kamala Harris decided to run for presidency. She complained about the current administration; the ongoing policies which include supporting multiple foreign conflicts. Cardi also supported Harris, saying that she was a caring governor who “can show empathy and is not fed up in the head.”
The rapper said it is a fact that Harris’s opinions and actions are what she wants to see in the future of America. Cardi B urged festival-goers to vote for a candidate she thinks will make a difference in society and demonstrated the significance of exercising one’s right to vote.
