What Barack Obama Loved in 2024: Books, Movies, and Songs to Explore

As we are at the end of December 2024 and ready to start a new year 2025, this time the former U.S. President Barack Obama continues his tradition of sharing his annual reading list, movies list, and songs recommendations for their followers! This year of 2024 Obama unveiled a selection of ten books on his X and Instagram accounts, the genres including love, politics, mental health, and art. Along with his book choices he also shared a list of movies recommendation and in the 3rd post he shared list of favorite songs from this year 2024.

The list shared by Obama is featuring Books with titles like Intermezzo by Sally Rooney and The Work of Art by Adam Moss, and also a thought-provoking movie lineup that includes a big hit of the year Dune: Part Two and The Promised Land. The music playlist is including songs by Beyoncé, Hozier, and Kendrick Lamar.

In his post where he shared his favourite book on Instagram; Obama wrote: “I always look forward to sharing my annual list of favorite books, movies, and music. Today, I’ll start by sharing some of the books that have stuck with me long after I finished reading them. Check them out this holiday season, preferably at an independent bookstore or library!”
