White House Clarifies Elon Musk’s Role in DOGE

Officials at the White House made it clear billionaire Elon Musk lacks the authority to decide government matters in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) despite earlier announcements indicating different. The recent filing by Joshua Fisher who leads the Office of Administration explains that Elon Musk works as a “non-career Special Government Employee” with a “Senior Advisor to the President” title.

Musk received the confirmation to lead DOGE following Donald Trump’s November announcement about the initiative. In his filing, Fisher makes clear that Musk alongside other presidential advisors possesses exclusive authority to offer advice to the president and transmit his mandates. Musk works outside of the U.S. DOGE Service together with its Temporary Organization. Additionally, he does not possess the role of Temporary Administrator.

The disclosure occurs during legal proceedings from 14 states led by New Mexico which target Musk. Through his involvement, Musk promotes steep government budget cuts alongside many employee dismissals. Trump announced in his upcoming Fox News interview that no person has received worse publicity than he has in historical terms. Elon has found out this key lesson on your journey. Things are clear to all people because they understand the situation. Musk agreed with Trump’s assessment of people’s intelligence by stating “Yeah, they do actually.”
