After the meeting of US President Joe Biden and UAE President His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on Monday, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris also met with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE at the White House. According to the media release by White House two leaders discussed the strong partnership between the U.S. and the UAE and ways to continue working together to create a more stable and prosperous Middle East.

Another official update came from VP’s official account, with the post she wrote a caption: “I met today with President Sheikh Mohamed of the UAE. Together we are growing our security, tech, and economic partnership — from AI to space. We are also working to strengthen regional stability and address the grave humanitarian crises in Gaza and Sudan.”
Vice President Harris praised the leadership of UAE in advanced technology, including artificial intelligence, and their shared efforts on strategic investments, space exploration, and supply chain diversification. This discussion includes the talk about the importance of the defense partnership between the USA and UAE for security and stability.
The war in Gaza was also the key issue of the meeting. VP Kamala Harris urged to protect innocent civilians while ensuring humanitarian aid reaches those in need. Both leaders talk about ongoing efforts to stop the conflict and plan for peace.
In addition, the Vice President also shared her concern about the conflict in Sudan, which has displaced millions and left many in need of aid. Both leaders agreed on the importance of ending the conflict and getting humanitarian assistance to those affected.
The UAE President also highlighted the humanitarian efforts and assistance sent by the UAE to the citizens of Gaza.
