The Youngest and the Fastest! Vaibhav Suryavanshi registers the fastest Century in Youth ODI

Vaibhav Suryavanshi already has a stack of records in his name and continues his prolific streak in U-19 as he smacks the fastest and the youngest century in Youth ODIs. He has achieved this feat after registering the Youngest Test Centurion in the category against Australia and having an impressive youngest T20 century in the Indian Premier League, playing for Rajasthan Royals.

The 14 Year old continues to make his mark wherever he goes and now it is in England where Suryavanshi has scored against England U- 19 in the fourth Youth ODI game held in Worcester, New Road County Ground on Saturday, 5 July.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored the explosive century facing just 52 deliveries with a remarkable composure and patience on the crease. The young talent continues to impress the cricket fans and charge past his contemporaries in making a name for himself.

He has also broke the record for the Youngest centurion in Youth ODIs previously held by former Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto who scored it at the age of 14 Years and 241 days, whereas Vaibhav Suryavanshi is 14 Years and 100 Days.

By scoring the century in 52 deliveries, he also surpassed Pakistan’s Qasim Akram who in 2022 scored a 63 ball century against Sri Lanka U- 19. He was dismissed after 78 balls scoring 143 with a strike rate of 183.33 and hitting 10 sixes and 13 fours with the Indian team score reading 233/2.
