UAE continues supply of humanitarian aid to Gaza, focuses on diplomatic efforts

Since the beginning of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza after Israel began its retaliation against Hamas’ October 7 attack on southern Israeli cities, the UAE has been consistently pushing for diplomatic negotiations to put an end to the fighting.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip is in the tens of thousands. Palestinians in the territory are also facing an intense humanitarian crisis, unable to access basic supplies like food and medicines. The UAE is putting considerable effort into easing people’s suffering.

UAE ensuring much-needed support for Palestinians in Gaza

On Friday, the UAE and Jordan led the 59th airdrop of aid on Gaza, alongside France, Germany, Italy and Spain. These efforts are part of the UAE’s Operation Gallant Knight 3 – seeking to ensure the supply of food and relief to the most affected areas.

The UAE is committed to an unflinching humanitarian approach. Using the support of regional and international partners, the Gulf state is ensuring much-needed support for Palestinians in Gaza. It has been reported that UAE has offered more than $1.5 billion in financial assistance.

The Emirates is dedicated to continuing its support for all those in need. Besides financial assistance, the UAE has also been helping prevent the total collapse of Gaza’s fragile health sector and ensuring continued medical services for the Palestinian people.

UAE seeking political solution to ease Gazan’s sufferings

The UAE is representing utmost readiness and high professionalism in its efforts to support the people of Gaza and ease their sufferings. The Gulf state’s stance on the situation reflects its sincere efforts to pursue a political solution that keeps Gazans far from further suffering.

The UN human rights office in Palestine recently reported that since May 27, 2025, more than 1,370 people have been killed in Gaza trying to access food. This includes 859 near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites and 514 along the routes of food convoys.
