Under the instruction of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan UAE dispatched aid planes to Brazil.
Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy said that the UAE’s robust monitoring systems track natural disasters.
When a disaster strikes and causes untold losses to the country and its citizens, the UAE always comes to the rescue. It provides humanitarian assistance to the victimized country to stand strong and fight the difficult conditions for its people. The UAE is vigorously promoting its “One Globe” agenda including floods and their aftermath of floods.
UAE aid will help the people of Brazil to fight against floods. It will help Brazil to recover from the drastic situation and help women, children and senior citizens.
The minister stated that today’s plane is carrying 100 tonnes of relief, medical, and food aid. Additionally, two more aircraft will be sent over the next two days, each carrying 100 tonnes of aid.
