On Tuesday President-elect Donald Trump announced wants to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. He expressed his frustration over Mexico’s taking advantage of the United States in trade and immigration matters.
While talking with the reporters Trump said that the new name, “Gulf of America,” would better reflect the United States’ role in the region, calling it “a beautiful name” and “appropriate.”
