US President Donald Trump has declared the status of national emergency for the coronavirus, COVID-19. On Saturday, the US House of Representatives has approved an overwhelming majority of aid packages for Americans affected by the coronavirus epidemic. The measure passed with 363 votes in favour and 40 contraries and now awaits the go-ahead from the Senate.
