UNESCO organisation thus far has promoted and recognised some of the most crucial and culturally specific monuments that are not just a mirror of the past but are also the reflection of history, architecture and diversity. As of 2025, there are 1223 UNESCO World Heritage Sites globally, from several remote parts of the globe.
These sites not only attract travellers and tourists but also solidifies the identity of the region, prolonging the specific facets of how the culture has moulded so far. The UNESCO Heritage Sites are selected by the organisation – United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). The sites are selected by the global value and that are either natural, cultural or a blend of world history showcased with artistic intelligence and having diversity.
