The Conspicuous Fashion Event “The Met Gala 2024”

The theme for this year’s Met Gala is inspired by the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” This show, running from 10th May to 2nd September at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will feature 250 objects from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection. These items, some of which have never been displayed publicly before, will be presented with the help of modern technology like CGI, AI, and video animation. The dress code for the Met Gala 2024 is “The Garden Of Time.”

The theme for the Spring exhibit was unveiled in November last year, revealing “The Garden of Time,” which has sparked excitement and anticipation among attendees. Co-chaired by celebrities like Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, and Chris Hemsworth, this year’s gala will showcase A-listers interpreting the theme through their fashion choices.

The Costume Institute’s permanent collection will play a significant role in the exhibition, with about 250 objects, many never before seen by the public, enriching the Met Gala 2024 experience.
