Tee Higgins’ Hamstring Injury Keeps Him Out of Bengals’ Game vs. Chiefs

Last updated on September 17th, 2024 at 02:58 pm

Tee Higgins the Cincinnati Bengals’ star wide receiver, will not play in today’s Week 2 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Higgins missed the Bengals’ first game of the season last weekend due to the same injury. There was hope he might recover in time for this game, but he did not practice with the team all week. He will miss his second consecutive game to start the season.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky so both Higgins and the team may be cautious. Some fans have speculated that Higgins may have been faking an injury as he requested a trade in the offseason, but Higgins has denied this.

Higgins has said that he does not understand why fans think he is faking an injury, especially since he is playing for a new contract next season. He wants to get back to full strength rather than rush back and risk more injury.

Fans of the Bengals are hoping that Higgins will return to the ground soon.
