President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Meets US Officials US officials Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan

President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is on a visit to the United States, where President Biden warmly welcomed him in the white house after the President of UAE also met with VP Kamala Harris where they discussed many key agendas as the visit continues many separate meetings held with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. 

According to the UAE embassy to the US, during separate meetings with Secretary Blinken and Mr. Sullivan, His Highness discussed the longstanding strategic relations between the two nations and their joint efforts to further strengthen these ties across various sectors.

The discussions in this meeting of UAE’s President and US officials are focused on the strong and long-standing partnership between the Gulf nation UAE and the US. Both countries expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation in various sectors, including security, economy, and trade.

US-UAE Partnership Grows Stronger in Areas of Trade, Technology, and Middle East Peace


These meetings also addressed important global and regional issues, particularly the unstable situation in the Middle East, the Gaza war, etc. The leaders emphasized the need to avoid further escalation of conflicts in the region, highlighting the importance of maintaining peace and stability.

The official website of WAM confirms that the many US officials were present at this meeting ncluding Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs. HH Sheikh Mohamed has joined the meeting with Jake Sullivan who is the White House National Security Advisor to the President of the US.

He shared an update on his official X handle, where he wrote- “The U.S. and UAE reaffirmed our shared intention to promote cooperation in AI and related technologies. We recognize the potential of AI for good, and look forward to further solidifying our collaboration in AI as we build safeguards and protections.”
