Many of us claim to be Potterheads. There are innumerable locations in the UK and other parts of the globe that noted the shooting of Harry Potter films. For all the fans out there, this article lists 5 top Harry Potter filming locations.

1. Platform 9 3/4, King’s Cross Station, London

Things started from here. I mean the magic unleashed from here. The famous platform 9 3/4 is real and is located in the UK. There is often a long queue of fans here. But there is also a gift shop nearby selling plenty of Harry Potter-themed gifts.

2. Millenium Bridge, London

The Millennium Bridge is a famous and really beautiful pedestrian bridge that crosses the Thames River in London. It has been featured in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It is an incredible location to reminisce a notable scene from one of Harry Potter films.

3. Leadenhall Market, London

This place is again in London. Leadenhall Market has been used as a shooting location for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as an entrance for the Leaky Cauldron. This incredible market should also be visited even if you are not a Harry Potter fan.

4. Oxford University, Oxford

The Oxford University is one of the most famous educational institutions across the globe. It has an illustrious history. But the institution has also been used for Harry Potter films. It is the Bodleian Library, the main research library of the uni.

5. Jacobite Steam Train, Scotland

You cannot forget this scene. The famous Jacobite Steam Train crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct. You can either go on a train ride by yourself or head to an area to get a beautiful shot of the train crossing the viaduct. Isn’t that incredible?
