According to a statement by Israeli Prime Minister office, PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He will undergo with surgery.

This news came after an examination at Hadassah Hospital. Doctors found a urinary tract infection caused by an enlarged benign prostate tumor. Netanyahu has started antibiotics which cleared the infection.

This is the third health issue in recent months with Israeli PM Netanyahu. In March he went through hernia surgery, after that in July he had a pacemaker implanted after a medical scare.

Netanyahu is the Prime Minister of Israel after 2022. He also held the position for multiple terms in the past.

Netanyahu has played an important role in the war on Gaza. The conflict has caused instabiloty, mass displacement and with nearly 46,000 lives lost, most of them women and children.

So, the news about health of Netanyahu is a subject of tension for the reason because it can make his stand weaker in the vast and complicated ongoing political senario in middle east.
