Ironmouse Leaves VShojo After $500K Payment Dispute and Charity Fund Issues

One of the most popular VTubers, who calls herself Ironmouse and surprised the streaming community with the news of her leaving talent agency VShojo because of severe payment-related problems. The Ironmouse VShojo scandal is focused on $500,000 of unpaid money, which should be donated to charity, and other financial issues between the streamer and her previous company.

Ironmouse, maker of the character pink-haired anime demon queen, announced it to her 1.3 million YouTube subscribers in a touching video. The Ironmouse VShojo breakup has swept the VTubing scene and caused concern about the way talent agencies manage charity donations and the payments that streamers receive.

Why Ironmouse Left VShojo?

The primary cause of the Ironmouse VShojo separation also includes significant financial concerns that have been accumulating with time. Ironmouse claims that VShojo owes her a lot of money that it has failed to pay even these recent months.

The greatest issue is half a million dollars collected in the 2024 Twitch subathon event. This was money that was expected to be donated to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) which Ironmouse is a big advocate of. Nevertheless, despite that Indonesia is already over a year without this charity money, VShojo has not sent the money to where it should be yet.

The Ironmouse VShojo payment conflict indicates how charity money has been raised on a platform known as Tiltify through a streaming marathon. Because the funds were processed through VShojo, it was the job of the agency to ensure safe delivery of the donation to the charity. This has brought problems of trust between Ironmouse and VShojo since $515,000 is yet to be accounted.

Ironmouse Suffered Emotional Manipulation

In addition to the financial issues, Ironmouse claimed that VShojo applied emotional manipulation to keep her there. She asserts that the agency has informed her that quitting will be a blow to her friends who still belong to VShojo. This type of pressure aggravated the situation surrounding Ironmouse VShojo.

Since 2017, Ironmouse has a disease called common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), which forced her to stay at home. It is this health condition, which made her begin streaming and why she is so concerned about the need to support the Immune Deficiency Foundation. The situation is particularly personal to her because of the fact that VShojo has not sent over the charity money.

Having joined VTubing in August 2017, the Puerto Rican-American streamer gained fame thanks to her funny character and high-pitched operatic voice. The Ironmouse VShojo split turned out to be a major event in the whole industry as this girl became one of the most popular VTubers in the whole world.

The community of those who stream is following the rate at which VShojo reacts to these heavy allegations. Several other VTubers are also wondering whether their agencies manage money correctly as well. However big changes in the way talent agencies handle the creators and do their business might be caused by the Ironmouse VShojo controversy.

This shows that even such successful streamers may struggle with significant issues in their management companies, in particular when it comes to charity funds and their payments.
