Also known as The Governor’s Award, the Honorary Award, an Oscar statuette, is given “to honour extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, exceptional contributions to the state of motion picture arts and sciences in any discipline, or for outstanding service to the Academy”.

Yet another Hollywood Music Legend and philanthropist Dolly Parton will be presented the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. All of the four recipients will be awarded at the 16th Annual Governor’s Awards that is set to take place on 16 November, 2025.
