Homosexuality Is Not A Crime!- Exclusively Says Pope Francis, Report

Recently in an exclusive interview, Pope Francis showed his support for the LGBTQ people. He strongly condemns laws that describe homosexuality as unjust or a crime. He said that God loves all of his children equally. He said that he is with all the Catholic bishops who have passed laws to welcome LGBTQ people into the church.

During an interview on Tuesday Pope said “Being homosexual is not a crime”.

Pope Francis also said that there are countries in the world and many Catholic bishops do not support homosexuality. They treat this as a criminal issue or discriminate these people who are homosexual. Though Pope Francis called this kind of law against morals and termed it a “sin”.

Pope also claimed that many cultural backgrounds are responsible for this conservative and unlawful mindset in which people discriminate against Homosexuals. Bishops must go through a process of transformation to recognize the dignity of all humans.

Let me tell you there are around 67 countries in the world that criminalize consensual homosexual activity worldwide and more than 11 countries imposed the death penalty on it. Human Dignity Trust is the source of data, it is an organization that works to end these kinds of unlawful laws.

Experts also said that many countries did not impose any restrictions on LGBTQ or gay people but they also perpetrate harassment, stigma, and violence against gay people.

Although the United States Supreme Court declared anti-sex laws unconstitutional, on the ground that these laws still exist on paper.

Many advocates who support and demand Gay equal rights say that laws are used to harass LGBTQ people. A law in Florida allows sexual orientation in kindergarten named-‘ Don’t Say You’re Gay’. It bans saying gender identity to make LGBTQ people feel lower and distance them.

The United Nations always ask to abolish the laws criminalizing homosexuality. They always say that it is a violation of human rights because it infringes on the right to privacy.

So, the recent statement of Pope Francis is like a direct attack on the opposition of homosexuals.
