The haunting time returns as Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s ‘28 Years Later’ trailer just got released. The daunting and seemingly calm beginning to the trailer instantly sends chills to the spine as the remaining people find ways to protect themselves from the walking zombies.
A new trailer after the first one, ‘28 Years Later’ trailer is the third installment of the infamous post- apocalyptic horror film franchise that began in 2002 as ‘28 Days Later’ and followed by ‘28 Weeks Later’ that was released in 2007. Now the third part follows a secluded set of people who have escaped the virus infection and found peace and stability in an isolated island where Jamie (Aaron Taylor Johnson), a scavenger and his 12 year old son Spike (Alfie Williams) go on a zombie hunt to the secluded and infected land mass full of people infected by Rage virus.
During their daunting adventure, Jamie and Spike learn secrets, surprises and other scary realities of the rest of the world. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are returning to the franchise along with the cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle. Cillian Murphy who played a prominent role in the first movie as a bicycle courier is also returning only as an Executive Producer. Familiar faces like Ralph Fiennes Tiffin, Jodie Comer, Jack O’ Connell, Erin Kellyman are also boasting important roles in this post – apocalypse horror flick.
‘28 Years Later’ is set to release in the UK and USA on 20 June 2025 while fans can expect a fourth part from the franchise as the production of both ‘28 Years Later’ and ‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ were done simultaneously.
