Breaking News: Massive Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge

The longest bridge in the United States ‘Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge’ was temporarily shut down after a massive 40-50 vehicle clash. According to the initial reports, this accident happened because of dense fog and low visibility.

This accident on the longest bridge of America happened today early morning. According to the initial reports 11 people got  injured because of it. 

After the accident emergency support quickly came into action for rescue. Quick aid and the rapid activity to clear the wreckage helped the people at the location. Initially both directions of the bridge were closed for several hours. It take a continuous work by people to clear the bridge.

After the clearance the bridge the north and south lanes of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway were reopened Tuesday. But officials are asking drivers to drive very carefully and safely as the increase fog in the area is creating difficulties.
