Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Finally Settle Divorce
After eight years of legal marriage separation, Hollywood famous power couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce agreement, as confirmed by Ms. Jolie’s lawyer. The decision to dissolve the marriage ends a story that started in September 2016 when Jolie filed for a divorce on the basis of irreconcilable differences, two years after their wedding in 2014.
They had been married in 1998 but they separated and had been involved in a brutal legal battle in terms of the kids’ custody since they have six of them. A major improvement was seen in 2021 when a judge gave both parents the physical possession of the child. Though it has been affirmed by the legal attorney of Ms. Jolie, the lawyer of Mr. Pitt did not comment on the said issue as stated by the Associated Press.
The pair commonly referred to as Brangelina met on the set of the movie Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005. Most of their romance attracted lots of media attention especially because it was Pitt’s second wedding after Jennifer Aniston, a famous star from ‘Friends’ and Jolie’s third after Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller. Both stars have maintained successful careers throughout their relationship and separation, with Jolie known for roles in “Lara Croft: ”Tomb Raider” and “Girl Interrupted”, Meyers’ and Pitt’s works include “Fight Club” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
