Best places to visit in Pakistan
While the majestic Himalayas and Karakoram mountain ranges have long been irresistible places to visit for many travellers, they are certainly not the only tourist destinations in Pakistan. In fact, there are numerous fascinating attractions spread right across the country.
Be it the centuries-old Mughal city of Lahore or the vivid nightlife of Karachi, Pakistan has a long list of beautiful places to warrant repeat visits. Our list takes in architecture, history, culture and landscapes, offering a reminder to start planning your trip to this underrated destination.
If your short stay in Pakistan allows you to visit just one place, make sure it’s Lahore. This ancient Mughal city isn’t home to just the most historic places in the country, it also hosts an exciting modern cultural scene. Lahore’s food scene is fabulous, too.

Gigantic Nanga Parbat rises above the alpine forest and fertile grasslands, with the serene landscapes getting reflected in the water of still lakes. While Fairy Meadows features a few tourist cottages and guesthouses, camping will always bring you closer to nature.
