Astrazeneca makes jaw-dropping revelations about Covishield vaccine

Astrazeneca admits Covishield vaccine may lead to Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS).

For the first time ever, Astrazeneca, the company behind the implementation of Covishield vaccine, has mentioned in its official documents that this vaccine may lead to a rare side effect named Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome, better known by its abbreviation TTS.

What happens in this disorder?

Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) involves formation of blood clots in the blood vessels along with a decrease in the number of platelets.It is an extremely rare condition that might happen from the use of Covishield vaccine. As per news reports, it has also been said that Covishield vaccine might lead a person to suffering from heart attack or brain stroke.

In this disorder, the matters of age, gender also act as a point of concern. It is not necessary that people belonging to the same age group will be prone to this disorder.

Symptoms of this disorder

Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) shows symptoms like chest pain, leg swelling, severe headache, blurred vision, shortness of breath. Hence, it is advised to the patients to remain vigilant of the symptoms because it will help in early diagnosis and recovery.
