Alex Cosani go down into the Chronicle after being crowned as the “Model of the Year”

Alex Cosani stepped into the glittering world of beauty and fashion in 2015 and became the youngest transgender model at the age of twelve.

The annual Fashion Awards which is organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC) for the year 2024 took place on December 2, 2024 at Royal Albert Hall in London. The award focuses on the celebration of the achievements and excellence in the fashion industry across the world.

Process of Nominations and Selection of the Winner

Alex Cosani – First Transgender “Model of the Year”

Alex Cosani, the American Transgender model has been titled as the ‘Model of the Year’ and became the first transgender woman to win this title at the age of twenty one. The prestigious award was presented by the stalwarts of the fashion and entertainment industry Ashley Graham, the well-known American model and the American actress who is globally acclaimed for her Netflix drama series “Baby Reindeer” Nava Mau.

“Big step in the right direction. Now, more than ever, it’s an important conversation that should be had about how to truly support and uplift one another within this industry, especially those who have been made to feel insignificant. Because change is more than possible, it’s needed” said the global fame American model after collecting her august award. Cosani is popular not only as a model but a ‘Tik-Tok’ notable figure with four million followers.

Alex Cosani has been making her elegant fashion statement at the event by wearing a white corset dress which is draped with a union flag which was designed by the Turkish British Designer Dilara Findikoglu.
