Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Strengthens UAE-Singapore Ties During Official Visit

H.H Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, who recently visited Singapore formally was involved in high-level sittings which was a testament to the UAE’s concern and efforts towards education and international cooperation. It comprised important direct contacts with UAE students learning in Singaporean colleges and universities besides an official luncheon with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong as a significant milestone of diplomatic relations.

Sheikh Khaled delivered the greetings of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to UAE students during the meeting at Singapore Universities and Institutes. In his speech, the Crown Prince also continues to express the commitment of the UAE’s leadership in promoting students’ educational experience abroad by underlining their role as cultural envoys, as well as in enhancing the country’s partnership with foreign nations through education.

Huge participation was witnessed at the meeting by UAE’s highest personalities such as Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh the Minister of State and Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak the Executive Affairs Authority Chairman showing more commitment of the nation towards educational reform. The meeting aimed to promote excellence and encourage the sharing of experiences that would help support the UAE’s move toward a knowledge-based economy.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince attends banquet hosted by Prime Minister of Singapore

In order to facilitate diplomatic talks Lawrence Wong invited Sheikh Khaled and the UAE delegation to an official luncheon banquet. It acted as a ground to share potential prospects for cooperation and further enhance relations between the two countries with a focus on several sectors.

The banquet was presided over by officials with representatives from the UAE and the American side with the UAE Ambassador Jamal Abdulla Al Suwaidi in attendance as well as representatives from the various ministries. The main points of the conversation focused on shared concerns and potential beneficial avenues for the improvement of the bilateral partnership, which both nations were dedicated to deepening the diplomatic and economic partnership.
