These are time-inexpensive activities, but they make all the difference in the large scheme of things.

1. Read for 30 minutes

Reading helps you learn new things, increases your focus and boosts your imagination, rids you of stress. Spending 30 minutes reading can help you increase the skill of concentration and also helps sharpen your brain and makes it work more smartly.

2. Exercise Daily

Do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day: a walk, a bike ride, dancing with your favorite music, or doing yoga. Exercises also feed your brain, as it improves mood, reduces stress, and many others.

3. Learn Something New

Every day, challenge your brain with something different. This may be in the form of a new word, a trivia question, a skill to cook or play an instrument, a few words in a new language, and the like. Keeping your mind sharp is through new learning. It makes one grow.

  • Concentrate on your breath for a minute
  • Pay attention to your surroundings as you’re on a walk

5. Write down your thoughts

Take several minutes daily to jot down your thoughts. You may try keeping a journal, making a list of things you are grateful for, or writing out your goals and plans.
