YouTuber Mr Beast and James Patterson’s Novel books HarperCollins Publishing Deal

HarperCollins signs a global publishing deal with Famous YouTuber Mr Beast and Bestselling Author Jamed Patterson’s Novel that is planned to be published in 15 languages. The untitled thriller will be bound and ready for publishing in 2026 through HarperCollins’ Global Publishing Program. 

The novel is very much in style with Mr Beast’s recent Beast Games and the hit Korean series Squid Game and described as, “In a high-octane, pulse-pounding thriller that only James Patterson and MrBeast can deliver, 100 contestants compete in an extreme global competition as they fight to not only survive dangerous tests held in treacherous locations around the world but also prove their leadership skills. During each of the tests, relationships will grow, betrayals will cut deep, and more and more contestants will be eliminated. Or die. In the end, the one and only winner will receive one billion dollars.”

Although the exact amount of the publishing deal is not revealed, yet the amount is said to be an eight figure sales. The TV and streaming rights are also expected to be sold soon as there is a high possibility of a novel under Patterson’s name getting a TV Adaptation. 

William Morrow at HarperCollins will publish in the U.S., and HarperFiction in the UK. In addition to the English-language markets, versions will be published in Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Polish and Czech, reports Deadline. 

A popular and familiar name in publishing with several prestigious literary and entertainment awards under his name, James Patterson has an impressive bibliography. Several TV and Movie Adaptations include ‘Alex Cross’, ‘Women’s Murder Club’, CBS’ ‘Instinct’ among other hit projects. 

Mr Beast aka Jimmy Donaldson is known to have the biggest YouTube channels in the entire world, the most subscribed is a known figure in today’s world. His brand Feastables has also picked up to be a massive food brand while Mr Beast’s digital philanthropy is well known. The Beast Games show in Amazon Prime has become the most watched unscripted series that will have another season coming up.
