yellowstone branded baked beans recalled in 23 states
Vietti Food Group has already recalled more than 4,500 cases of their Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans because of an undeclared soy allergen, announced recently FDA. The popular beans which were a derivation of the hit TV show was spread over almost half the nation. The recalled products are produced with the lot code ‘Best if used by Feb 17, 2028 on the bottom of cans. Though no illnesses have been reported yet, the product can be dangerous for allergic consumers because of soy allergy. The beans were sold in 23 states spanning the country from New York to Oregon, including: Southwestern states like Arizona, Colorado, and Utah Southern regions including Florida, Georgia, and Texas Midwestern areas such as Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio Eastern states like Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina
Purchasers of these beans are advised not to use them, and they are entitled to return the purchasing place full money refund. Such recalls by experts on food safety should be treated as precautionary but are still necessary.
