What’s New on Starbucks Fall Menu 2024? Early Launch Includes Pumpkin Spice Latte

Starbucks is eager to bring on the fall vibes. This big coffee giant Starbucks is rolling out its 2024 fall menu including the beloved pumpkin spice latte earlier than ever before.

These early releases in 2024 come amid challenges for Starbucks because the company is already facing a major fall in in-store traffic and sales. Starbucks has taken a risk in rekindling consumer interest in its stores. Starbucks has moved up its fall menu launch to Thursday, August 22, two days earlier than last year.

The early debut may be part of a broader strategy to boost sales and regain its foothold with customers, especially following the recent appointment of former Chipotle CEO Brian Niccol as Starbucks’ new leader. Niccol steps in during a turbulent time for the brand, as former CEO Laxman Narasimhan was ousted earlier this month.

Starbucks’ decision to launch its fall menu so early aligns with a growing trend among retailers who are introducing seasonal products long before the actual season starts. For example, stores often stock Halloween items as early as June, a trend that’s been dubbed “summerween” on social media.

Despite the mixed reactions to these early launches, some consumers appreciate the chance to get a jump on their holiday preparations. Starbucks is not alone in this approach—other retailers, like Target, are also rolling out seasonal merchandise ahead of schedule to meet growing consumer demand.

So, what can you expect from the 2024 fall menu of Starbucks?

Starbucks is highlighting its fall menu with exciting new offerings including Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Tea. While the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte, introduced in 2003, remains the brand’s most popular seasonal drink, this new version offers a new option. Made with real pumpkin, espresso, steamed milk and spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is available in hot, iced and blended varieties, catering to the diverse preferences of customers.

Additional items on the 2024 Starbucks fall menu include:

  • Pumpkin cream cold brew
  • Iced pumpkin cream chai
  • Apple crisp oatmilk macchiato
  • Iced apple crisp oatmilk shaken espresso
  • Raccoon cake pop
  • Pumpkin cream cheese muffin

Where you can get these 2024 fall menu items?

For now, Starbucks reserves locations in Chicago, New York City, and Seattle to introduce the special fall menu. So why you are waiting? Plan a day out with your family or friends to taste the 2024 fall menu in these locations and you can also get seasonal cocktails here.

As Starbucks brings more fall flavors to customers than ever before, the brand wants to capture the excitement of the season — and maybe win back some of its loyal fans in the process.
