Popular YouTuber Andrew Cross who is known as Desert Drifter passed away on Tuesday after being removed from life support. Cross had sustained a severe brain injury after a car accident last month.
His death was announced on CaringBridge.com, where a heartfelt post described his final moments. His wife, Evelyn, and loved ones surrounded him as he peacefully passed.
“Before removing Andrew from life support, they walked him around the ICU, with staff lining the hallway to honor him,” the post read. “Friends and family prayed, read scripture, and sang during the process. It was peaceful and beautiful.”
Cross’ accident occurred on January 31 while he was returning home from filming at Bears Ears National Monument in Utah. His wife had shared an emotional video in early February, asking for prayers and support.
