Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a dream that has fans buzzing—playing professional football alongside his son, Cristiano Jr.
In a chat with YouTube star MrBeast on Ronaldo’s channel, UR Cristiano, MrBeast asked him, “LeBron played with his son. Will you do the same with Junior?”
The 39-year-old football icon smiled and replied to him “We will see. He’s 14 now, so it depends on how my legs hold up.”
Cristiano Jr. is currently playing for Al Nassr’s U13 team in Saudi Arabia. With his excellency in playing he gets compliments and comparison to his father Ronaldo. Ronaldo’s comment has sparked hopes among fans that this father-son dream could become reality.
The idea follows a recent milestone in sports when LeBron James shared the NBA court with his son Bronny. LeBron in his 22nd season scored 16 points during the Los Angeles Lakers’ season opener while Bronny made his debut. The moment was celebrated worldwide as a historic achievement.
Ronaldo still dazzling on the pitch now faces the question of whether his career will last long enough for him to share a similar moment with his son. For fans the thought of a Ronaldo duo in football is an exciting possibility one they hope to see come true.
