As Trump Takes Office, Putin Calls for Long-Lasting Peace in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Donald Trump as today he is going to take oath as the 47th president of America. The Russian president said they are willing to talk on critical global issues, including Ukraine and nuclear arms topics with the USA.

In a video release, Putin showed his commitment to “long-lasting peace” in Ukraine rather than settling for a temporary ceasefire. 

Today when Trump is ready for the inauguration event global leaders and faces from the world is there. India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg, Mukesh Ambani are on the guest list.

The inaugural address of Trump will now take place indoors at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, with the traditional parade relocated to an arena.
