The MBZ-SAT boasts over double the image resolution and three times faster data transmission than its predecessors, promising to capture more than ten times the number of images per day.

Scheduled for launch later this year on a SpaceX rocket, the MBZ-SAT will operate for eight years in low-Earth orbit. It will serve various sectors, including urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management, by providing high-resolution imagery and timely data.

This satellite is the second fully domestically built satellite after the KhalifaSat in UAE. This also reflects the growth of this gulf nation in space sector.

2.. Emirates Lunar Gateway Module: A Visionary Contribution to Lunar Exploration

The UAE is contributing to the international effort to explore and exploit the Moon through the development of the Emirates Lunar Gateway module.
