UAE’s foreign aid surpasses $98.09bln

The UAE has donated over $98 billion to support other nations since it came into being in 1971. Indeed, this is evidence of the compassion that the UAE shows by standing for humanity worldwide. September 5, 2024, will be marked as International Charity Day in the country, as with other member countries.

Why Does the UAE Help Others?

The UAE yearns for a better world. It struggles to:

– help poor people

– Assisting the victims of disasters

– Developing nations to grow and develop

– Peace between countries is maintained

These activities were motivated by the first founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. His legacy has been carried through to this date by the current President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Criteria of the UAE on Who to Provide Aid

The UAE helps any people in need, whatever their nationality or persuasion. The UAE may disagree with a country’s government but if the people of that country are suffering, the UAE does not let their differences get in the way of aid.

It establishes a committee to assess the humanitarian and philanthropic needs of service and then draws ways and means for relief. It is headed by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Large Projects of the UAE to Assist Others

The UAE started a lot of huge projects with the aim of helping the needy. The largest of these projects include: “Yemen We Care” in 2015; “For Your Sake, Somalia” in 2017; assistance given to Rohingya women and children in 2019; “Warm Winter” for helping refugees in 2022; “Bridges of Giving” for earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey in 2023; “Tarahum For Gaza” with the purpose of being able to help Palestinians during the recent war.

UAE’s Pledge for Continuous Support

Much in the future plan of the UAE has focused on helping others. One of its major goals is known as “Principles of the 50,” simply meaning that the UAE will never stop in its efforts to make life better for many people all over the world.

In short, UAE has struggled for many years to serve the lives of the poor. Large sums of money have been provided, as well as projects, in an effort to make a change. The UAE will be committed in the future to such efforts in its quest to prove that it deeply cares about making life on earth better.
