Dr. Barakat detailed that 49 wounded children and cancer patients were evacuated with their companions from Al Arish Airport. This meticulous process was conducted under the supervision of a specialized medical team, ensuring adherence to established health protocols for medical evacuation operations. The state’s hospitals had already received 426 injured individuals before the arrival of the ninth batch, reflecting the continuous efforts to provide immediate medical attention.
The Emirati field hospital in southern Gaza has played a pivotal role since its inception, receiving 2,644 injured individuals with injuries ranging from moderate to severe. The dedicated medical staff in the hospital have saved numerous lives, showcasing the tangible impact of UAE’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.
