The UAE and US have signed a deal together to build the largest AI Campus to be built by a Gulf country outside of Abu Dhabi. The decision was made during the US President’s current trip to the Middle East that includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar and now the UAE.
The 5GW Artificial Intelligence Campus will have capable and leading American Companies who will be providing services and planning to the countries of the Global South. The campus is said to be planned to stand at 10 square mile space and will have 5 GW of Power capacity for AI, reported the US Commerce Department.
The nations have come to a decision after accelerating the US – UAE Artificial Intelligence framework that benefits both the countries’ AI and advanced technology field. “This will generate billions and billions of dollars in business and accelerate the UAE’s plans to become a really major player in artificial intelligence,” Trump said.
Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways will be expanding its fleet by buying 28 wide -body Boeing aircraft. The deal is secured by Etihad and GE Aerospace signed a deal of $14.5 billion commitment from Etihad Airways to invest in 28 American-made Boeing 787 and 777X aircraft powered by GE engines.
The commercial aviation partnership between US and UAE will be further strengthened, also fueling American manufacturers, exports and other relatable sectors, supporting 60,000 jobs in the US.
The two nations also signed $ 200 Billion commercial deals including the deal with Etihad, $60 billion deal between ExxonMobil, Occidental Petroleum and EOG Resources with Adnoc expanding oil and natural gas production. There are other several multi million dollar deals to be signed on Friday between the countries, making UAE the important stop in Donald Trump’s three nation trip in the Middle East.
