The UAE remains in the top ranks of trustful nations as documented by the 2025 Edelman Trust Barometer results. New data shows that people strongly trust both UAE government and business sectors which keeps the nation steady in times of global trust losses. Across 28 nations and over 33,000 participants from various countries, the study demonstrated that trust and positive views of the future are strongly linked. Results showed that 60% of respondents from the UAE expect the next generation will live better than today while only 36% of worldwide participants agreed to this.

High Trust in Government and Business

The UAE population strongly trusts its government leadership as shown by the 82% who express their confidence in response surveys. The trust the people have in their government far surpasses global standards which stand at 52%. The people of the UAE place their trust in their leadership because they view it as efficient and morally upright. The country’s secure political environment has led to better economic progress along with a united society.

Nearly three out of four business leaders in the UAE believe companies put public welfare first. The UAE businesses enjoy a trust level that surpasses the global average of 62% by 14 percentage points. The report shows that the United Arab Emirates has effective business ethics and rules that investors trust to help economic success continue.

Optimism and Global Comparisons

Research shows that people in the UAE hold strong faith in future progress since 60% of them think future generations will do better than present times. The number of people worldwide who trust prospects stands far below the 60% of participants in the UAE. The UAE achieves positive expectations because it plans for the future while expanding its economy and refining its technological approach.

Researchers place the United Arab Emirates near Chinese and Saudi Arabia at 77% and 72% in terms of trust. The nation ranks among a small group of countries whose people put their trust in both the United Nations and the European Union. Even though trust has declined around the globe the United Arab Emirates remains at the forefront of creating a trustworthy setting among nations.
