Trump Threatens Total Force Against Hamas if Hostages Not Freed
Donald Trump further increased the Middle East conflict by issuing a final chance order to free all hostages in Gaza. After the White House disclosed direct talks with Hamas the US president directed his last warning to them.
Through his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that no Hamas member would evade damage if Israel did not follow his guidance. He advised Gaza residents that their future would grow better by providing control of their hostages all at once. “If you do, you are DEAD!” According to Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem, these threats would affect the peace conditions in place.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the United States now speaks directly with Hamas which reverses its tradition of not engaging with official terrorist groups. The Palestinian sources shared that there have been two official discussion rounds held in Qatar. The US government talks directly with Hamas to secure the freedom of hostages and create a peace agreement that will end hostilities that have taken 48,440 Palestinian lives through October 2023.
