transfer window opens early for fifa club world cup teams
The new FIFA Club World Cup has led to new changes in how trades are handled during summer in Europe. The tournament which takes place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, gives clubs both opportunities and problems when setting up their squads.
The transfer windows for European leagues will be open from June 1 to June 10, then closed until June 16, when they reopen. Thanks to this, teams are able to build their teams especially for the highly regarded 32-team event.
Real Madrid has signed Dean Huijsen for €59 million and is expected to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold and Álvaro Carreras as well. The club is planning alternatives to Kevin De Bruyne, with Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze in its sights.
