Top Grossing Local Film: “Hello, Love, Again” Earns ₱85M on First Day

Hello, Love, Again,” the movie starring Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards earned over ₱85 million on its first day. This is the highest opening gross for a local movie. The film was shown in 656 local Philippine cinemas . This collection is the most for any local film. Overall the movie will be shown in 1,000 cinemas worldwide.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, “Hello, Love, Again” is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” Bernardo and Richards expressed their excitement about the success of the film.

“We are very happy and fulfilled. We did not expect such a great turnout for the movie. We are excited for everyone to watch it,” Richards said on Wednesday.

“So maraming salamat sa lahat ng nanood ng midnight screenings, sa lahat ng nagpa-block screening, at sa lahat ng mga manonood pa lang in the coming days — thank you so much for all the support. Sobrang saya namin kagabi. Thank you,” Bernardo added.

Last Tuesday, Bernardo, Richards, Garcia-Sampana, and the cast members of “Hello, Love, Again” had a successful world premiere. The event was attended by fellow celebrities and executives from ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
