TikTok Here to Stay: ByteDance Declares No Plans for U.S. Sale

In an announced ByteDance has cleared that it has no plans to sell its TikTok business in the US.
ByteDance is a Chinese parent company of TikTok. There were news in the market that ByteDance will sell TikTok to US in between geopolitical pressure.

But recently ByteDance has announced that it will not be selling the widely-used video sharing app TitkTok in any condition created by United States.

This announcement has comes after the app (TikTok) facing the possibility of a ban in US. After the new bill passed and signed by Biden Administration.

In recently Biden signed a big foreign aid package of worth 95 billion dollar. The bill is for Ukraine, Gaza Israel, and Taiwan.

The same bill grants ByteDance a one-year window to sell TikTok or face a ban on operating in the U.S. It came after national security concerns raised by the US politicians, who argued the Chinese government could compel TikTok to share U.S. user data.

But now when ByteDance showed their statement , it is clear that company is not in mood to surrender.

Toutiao is an app owned by ByteDance, in this app it has been made clear that misinformation has been spread. The company would not sell TikTok in the US without its algorithm.

The TikTok algorithm has played a crucial role in its widespread appeal among users.
But now it is cleared that to continue TikTok in the United States it have to win rulling in Court.

TikTok announced on Wednesday that it would challenge the law in court, following Biden’s recent signing.

At the last let us remind you all, that Court of America have blocked previous attempts to ban TikTok, both during the Trump administration and at the state level.
