When Will Conditions Improve?

North and Central Texas are under a Winter Weather Advisory until noon Friday, with light snow and freezing drizzle expected to cause minor ice accumulations, especially on elevated surfaces.

Accoridn to the reports North Texa conditions will improve by Friday afternoon, but hazardous travel along the Red River will persist until mid-afternoon.

The NWS warns that after precipitation ends, icy roads will likely form overnight into Saturday morning, leading to black ice on the roads.
