Taylor Swift Wins Big at MTV Video Music Awards, Thanks Travis Kelce and Urges Fans to Vote

Taylor Swift performed brilliantly at the MTV Video Music Awards going home with seven awards which included the best video of the year. This has given her a total of thirty awards tying with Beyoncé as the most VMA recipients in history.

At some point during her speech, Swift acknowledged her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is an NFL football player, for being present on the set of her ‘Fortnight’ music video. She said, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.” Fans roared when she said Kelce.

Swift also took her time on stage to urge those who are 18 years and above to go on and register to vote in the 2024 U.S. election. But she did not discuss Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, although, Swift had endorsed her the night before.
